Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessings you have given us. All that we have is yours and comes from you. We come to you in prayer for making a business decision. We come to acknowledge that You are the source of all wisdom, understanding, and provision. Your Word declares, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” (James 1:5). Today, we humbly ask for Your guidance in every decision we face in this business.
Foundation Of Our Business
Lord Jesus, You are our Savior, Lord, and Master. You are the cornerstone and the foundation upon which we build. This world is so much shifting sand. Matthew 7:24-27 discusses the wise man who built his house on a rock, not on shifting sand. Direct our steps and grant us discernment, that we may develop our business on a solid foundation. You are that rock, that foundation that we need. So guide us to choose paths that honor You and reflect Your righteousness. God help us to act with integrity, honesty, and fairness in all our dealings. Guide us in treating every employee, customer, and partner as we would wish to be treated (Matthew 7:12).
Seek Help!
If we can’t find the words and are groaning under our uncertainty, send us the Holy Spirit! When the path before us grows steep and we are weary, send the Holy Spirit, our help in weakness.
Holy Spirit intercede for us and fill us with creativity, insight, and perseverance.
Dear God, illuminate opportunities that align with Your will, and close doors that would lead us astray. Strengthen us to remain steadfast in the face of challenges. Make us patient in the face of uncertainty, and grateful during both success and failure.
We pray that our business will be a beacon for Your purposes and a place where Your love, mercy, justice, and compassion are displayed in everything we say and do. Please help us to be good stewards of the resources you provide. Guide us to use those resources wisely as we serve others faithfully. We know that all that we have is yours. It is to be used to bless our community and further Your Kingdom.
We surrender our plans to You, trusting in Your perfect timing and provision. Let every decision bring glory to Your name.
